ABOUT PRACTICAL LIVING INSTITUTE
MISSION STATEMENT
Practical Living Institute’s (PLI) Mission is to improve the lives of the disenfranchised in our society, both domestically and
internationally, by providing humanitarian, financial, and spiritual guidance and support through mentoring, seminars, training,
education, and special projects.
Practical Living Institute (PLI) was formed in 1999 and granted 501 (c) (3) non-profit status by the IRS.  PLI is
governed by a Board of Directors and an Executive Director.  PLI depends on volunteers from the community to
implement its programs.  PLI can only be successful with community involvement and support.

Practical Living Institute (PLI) currently has four major programs: Project Destiny,    Women Aspiring to Develop
Eminent Resolve (W.A.D.E.R.), the Women In Action (WIA) Program, and the Godparent Program.

In additional to the programs listed above, PLI sponsors workshop, seminars, and conferences and plans and
coordinates mission trips domestically and internationally.
